floor cleaning & puppy in the country

Here is our three month old puppy frolicking in a meadow, filled with wild flowers. She was running around and flipping somersaults and cartwheels with joy, and we played such fun chasing games with our little family. I barely managed to get the puppy to sit still for a minute, however this mound of yellow flowers and she were too beautiful to not take these photos.

Back at home there is a whole lot of floor cleaning going on, done entirely by me, and I feel our floors have never been both so dirty and so clean in one day. And we don't even have a proper mop, so I am on my knees on the floor cleaning a la the old fashioned way, but its actually sort of enjoyable, more fun and real then vacuuming. In fact the other day I was feeling very sorry for myself for some particular reason and the water fountain was flowing from my eyes, but I had to clean the floor. So I got on my knees with an old tee-shirt rag, and yellow rubber gloves for a nice dose of humbling hard work, and twenty minutes later I was all better. Washing the floor is really kind of cool, and rewarding.
