self portraits & make up

Today I was a guest on a Talk Show focusing on Bulgarians who have lived abroad. It was great fun, although I was quite nervous, since my Bulgarian is not good, and I feel I can't express myself properly, however I suppose there is charm to that, and the male host was extremely lovely, and warm and relaxed, so I perhaps the result is sort of alright. I will post the video on here once it airs.

I had my make up done by a professional friend of ours and I thoroughly understand the lure of make up, because suddenly I looked incredible. I do see the addiction potential, but I prefer make-up only for special occasions, a little mascara for a dinner with friends, some eyeliner and eyeshadow for a party, and so forth. I cant stand how some women wear a lot of makeup every single day of their lives. When I see people wearing foundation on a normal day, I ache for their poor skin, imprisoned by chemicals, and pity their low self esteem that demands this face paint. The way I avoid makeup is by eating healthy, taking of my skin (cleanser, toner, serum, cream), and getting enough sleep.

I say get your makeup done by a professional and take mad photos of yourself, then flaunt them about with great pride. Repeat this project every few years, and you are set for life.

Note: by the way these have not had any Photoshop on them, as my mac is being problematic, and I can't open the bloody application.
